DESIGN

Involve us early in the design process and the G-frame team will help you to achieve an optimised design through our mix of value engineering and creative problem solving. Our track record in the delivery of mass timber, concrete and steel buildings means we can advise, design and deliver the best method of construction for your project. From architect’s drawings, our experienced in-house design team will take your project through Stage 1 to 4 using CAD/CAM technology.

Supply

By partnering with Europe’s foremost CLT and glulam manufacturers we guarantee our clients premium quality products delivered to meet tight ‘just in time’ schedules. CLT panels and glulam beams are modelled through the BIM platform and sent directly to the manufacturer’s CNC machine, where they are cut to size with apertures and service channels included. This direct link ensures accuracy and speed when transferring data from the structural design and greatly reduces procurement time.

All the wood products we supply are sourced from sustainably managed forests and are independently certified.

Install

We work with a highly professional team of CLT and glulam site operatives experienced in the installation of mass timber and hybrid structures. G-frame’s in house site team also brings more than 40 years experience of concrete and steel construction for the delivery of hybrid structures.

Consult

We are often asked to provide consultancy services in the early stages of a project because of our comprehensive knowledge of offsite and traditional methods of construction. Our advice can add a new dimension to the design and enable architectural freedom in areas that might otherwise be restricted by budget or structural solutions. It is possible when building with engineered timber to overcome seemingly impossible details and issues. Integration with existing structures can be made straightforward when considered at pre-construction stage. Value engineering throughout the design team meetings can result in further savings to the cost and programme.
