Landmark five storey teaching hub and performing space
A new five-storey hybrid CLT, steel and concrete teaching facility for the University of Nottingham’s University Campus. Facilities provided by the new building include a 300 seat lecture theatre, performing arts space, staff offices, social learning hub and several teaching areas of differing sizes. Internal spaces are connected by a top-lit atrium with additional natural light provided by full-height glazing to the main staircase. G-frame Structures were responsible for the design, supply and installation of the CLT panels to the steel frame and concrete floors.
