New 6th form teaching, study and events space

A new-build 6th form study block for Graveney School provides valuable extra teaching, study and events spaces. The 800 m2 building houses eight classrooms and a double-height study space with balconies and gallery. G-frame were responsible for the design, supply and installation of the CLT structure. The CLT is exposed throughout the building and particular care has been taken to ensure connections are not visible. A highly innovative facade system completes the building. An internal glulam frame, which also supports internal glazing elements, is tied back to the CLT superstructure and clad externally with polycarbonate panels.
